Summary

As COVID-19 continued to dominate the daily news cycle, Don Julio’s new 2020 ‘Devotion’ came about at a time where Don Julio’s bartender familia was struggling due to restaurant closures across the country.

In order to maintain the sanctity of the celebration of Día de los Muertos while staying true to Don Julio commitment to their roots, I tapped Mexican-American bartenders and artists from Mexico and Guatemala to bring three custom cocktails and pieces of art to life.

We designed these surfaces to not only act as beautiful tabletops for the traditional ofrenda, but to create the perfect backdrop for each bottle shape when standing upright.
